Welcome
Manage auto-approved internal updates
Choose whether SureBook applies internal updates automatically or holds them for your review. This setting covers contact updates, notes, and relationships. It never sends an email to a client without your review.
Choose how SureBook handles internal updates
- Open Settings in SureBook.
- Select Preferences.
- Find Auto-approve SureBook suggested actions.
- Select Create/Update Contact, Notes & Relationships to apply those internal updates automatically.
- Select None if you want to review every suggested internal update before it is completed.
Client emails still require your review
This setting applies only to internal updates. SureBook still holds every client email for you to review and send.
Change an update that was applied automatically
- Open the communication where SureBook made the update.
- Select the edit icon beside the action you want to change.
- Update the action details as needed.
- Use the undo option if SureBook created a contact that you don't want to keep.
What happens after you change the setting
With Create/Update Contact, Notes & Relationships selected, SureBook applies those internal actions without waiting for your review. You can return to the communication later to edit or undo an action.
With None selected, every suggested internal action waits for your review before SureBook completes it.
Troubleshooting
Why is SureBook still waiting for me to send an email?
Auto-approved internal updates don't include client emails. You still review and send every client email.
How do I stop internal updates from being applied automatically?
Go to Settings → Preferences. Under Auto-approve SureBook suggested actions, select None.
Can I change an internal update after SureBook applies it?
Yes. Open the original communication and select the edit icon beside the action. If the action created a contact, you can use the undo option.
